I am a trained personal trainer and dietitian, and also have a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy and an ongoing master's degree in mental health and substance abuse. I am passionate about physical activity as a tool to improve our mental health. I think it is important to have balance in everyday life, and realistic goals that create lasting results. Together we avoid shortcuts, but develop a plan that is feasible, fun and educational. As your Coach, it is my role to give you the support you need to be able to implement the plan we have developed, and in this way you can become the most awesome version of yourself.

 

With over 15 years of experience in strength training, where I have competed in powerlifting, armwesling, crossfit, and half marathon, as well as having a solid academic background, I have a versatile approach. I combine training, dietary guidance, mental training and including individual conversations.

 

My work experience ranges from group training and personal training to having led projects in the mental health field. I have also worked in child protection, substance abuse treatment and psychiatry. My passion is promoting activity and mental health, and I believe that continuous effort is the key to long-term results.

I started training with Jannicke after an injury due to overtraining in the hamstring. I had to quit CrossFit, struggled with motivation, lacked some goals and meaning in training. Jannicke got me back on track by first training around the injury and focusing on what I could train, and helped/adapted as the hamstring injury improved. With her guidance, positive mood and proper backing, I got both the joy of training and strength back. With concrete wishes and goals such as the desire to do pullups, become strong again in the legs and generally well trained, Jannicke made plans for me which we had a dialogue about every week. I did the work, logged and reported and Jannicke adjusted and gave me new challenges when I needed it. Jannicke was also available to answer questions along the way. In addition to training plans, Jannicke also set up a diet plan for me with a list of good sources of protein, carbohydrates and fat. With her help, I got back to a comfortable weight and made myself feel good in my clothes again. We mostly focused on goals with measuring tapes as I have previously had a somewhat strained relationship with diet and diet with overtraining and dieting. Here, Jannicke adapts the dialogue to what you need, and pushes you into the right track. Jannicke is good through and through, cares about you and your goals, is professional and has a lot of expertise. Her joy in training rubbed off on me and I have managed to maintain good training habits. Can absolutely recommend Jannicke if you are looking for someone who can help you become a better version of yourself, reach your goals and build the muscles you dream of.
